Description: The island is situated in the Ionian Sea, close to the island of ITHAKI and LEFKADA and the port of ASTAKOS. The island’s area extends to 4,470,000 square meters. The island has four beaches, the biggest of which is 220 meters in length, is full of pebbles and has sumptuous vegetation. On this sea-shore stands a reestablished church, one water well, one cistern for collecting the rain-water and one renovated two-story house consisting of a ground floor of 30 square meters and a first floor of 50 square meters which includes a kitchen. The second of the four beaches is sandy, approximately 100 meters in length and features a cave of exceptional beauty. The other two beaches are with pebbles and are 50-70 meters in length. At a higher level there is a plateau of about 1,000,000 square meters, includes a shepherd’s hut, olive trees and almond trees among others. The geological and geophysical for the finding of water have shown that situated on the largest of the sea-shores, and behind the cistern, are stones which may contain water. What is necessary is transversal waterdrilling for the confirmation of the finding of this resource. The legal titles of the island under Greek Law are perfect.
According to Greek Law, islands are considered as frontier area and they may be transferred only to Greek citizens (now to all EU citizens) and not to foreign citizens (other than EU citizens).
If a prospective buyer is interested in obtaining more information, he must appoint a Greek lawyer to check the legal status of the island. The island is in close proximity to the port of ASTAKOS and to the enchanting islands of Ithaki and Lefkada, therefore it may be developed for distinguished tourists or for family use and investment.
